What if we could write all that

Our thoughts on paper as soon as we have them?

What if we could write every single taught in the day as we get up and still feeling the leftover of our dreams. Feeling like the day is yours, it belongs to you until you put your foot on the ground and the pain shoots, and then you remember Ha! yes, I am a veteran… I give a lot of me. Now I pay for that 24/7, no rest.

I’m trying to learn to live with my pains every day and every night. I recently discovered that I suffer from PTSD, and with that, I find out a lot of my life is missing, memories, days, so much that it is painful just thinking about it.

I’m here this morning to get my horses to the big pound we have in the backyard. Our little paradise is only 27 acres in a small community in Ontario. We worked hard to get it to where it is now. We started with bushes and multiple swamps. Now we have a big pound, barn, paddocks for the horses and multiple trails.

My two beautiful horses are walking in the sun of autumn with me. We can smell the morning dews and hear the leaves falling off the trees as the breeze moves through the branches. A world of colours, a beautiful scene is painted right in front of my eyes; green, orange, red and yellow. Leaves fall to the ground to make a beautiful floor carpet. What are we…
