The feeling to Letting go
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lily. She had been holding onto a grudge against her best friend for a long time. They used to be inseparable until one day, her friend betrayed her trust by sharing her secrets with everybody. Lily couldn’t forget the immense pain her friend had caused her, and even though they still talked, the bond between them was broken.
Lily had never been one to hold grudges before, but she couldn’t shake off her hurt feelings. Every day, she’d find herself wondering why her friend had done what she had done. She’d replay the events over and over again, trying to understand the reason behind her friend’s actions. But even after all this time, she couldn’t come up with a logical explanation. The memory of the betrayal only made Lily angrier and resentful.
Lily was tired of feeling angry all the time. She knew she couldn’t keep holding onto this grudge, but she didn’t know how to let it go either. She was afraid that letting go would mean forgiving her friend, and that was a risk she wasn’t willing to take.
One day, Lily decided that enough was enough. She realized that holding onto a grudge was causing her more pain than it was worth. She realized that it was time to let go.
